CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP - Saturday 22ND & Sunday 23RD August 2015
This year's Club Championship Format has changed.
Round 1 - Saturday 22nd August will now be open to all members of any handicap and played as an 18 hole medal (handicap qualifier).
Once the 1st round is complete the Best 20 Gross Scores and ties and the next Best 20 Nett Scores and ties will go through to the 2nd round.
This will leave a minimum field of 40 players on Sunday.
Round 2 - Sunday 23rd August
The Best Gross score over the 36 hole competition will win the Club Championship
The Best Nett score over the 36 hole competition will win the _________________ (kindly donated by Mr President Lincoln Boulton)
This format will remain to make this one of the most Prestigious competitions at Leek Golf Club.

DIVOTS
Over the course of the year you will notice that there are a lot of Divots around the course.
You can help to relieve this situation by taking a Divot Seed Bag that are provided next to the 1st tee.
The majority of divot holes around the course are down to birds overturning the replaced divots as well as people not replacing them.
Using the Divot Seed bags is much more beneficial to the course as the birds can no longer overturn the divots but also the seed means that fresh grass is introduce3d to the course.
