Covid-19 update
Unfortunately, England Golf has now notified us that the challenge was unsuccessful, and from the 5th November 2020, the CLUBHOUSE, PRO SHOP and COURSE will be closed for 4 weeks. If this situation changes at any time, you will be the first to know. A BRS message will come out immediately to members. In the meantime, we will keep you informed of any further updates, and would respectfully ask that you do not come to the Club for the next 4 weeks. Once again, thank you for your cooperation and stay safe. |
Click and collect
Despite all of the restrictions, we are planning on still running a click and collect service. This will mean that there's something you'd like, you can ring us up to check if we have what you like in stock, arrange payment and a time to collect from the pro shop. If you live within a sensible distance, it may be possible to do deliveries, too. We also have our online site, where you can browse a larger collection than in our shop for collection, too. If you want to have a look, please go to the site by clicking here. Other services we can still provide include providing gift vouchers, shoe re-studding and club re-gripping. You can reach us on grogula1@talktalk.net, or call 07979936987 for any queries. |
Social media
Please keep up to date with what is going on in and around the pro shop by following our social media pages. We will be posting updates on a regular basis for you, and it's the best way to interact and stay in touch with the latest news from us! Click on the relevant button below to follow us. |

Augusta looms Masters week is an exciting time for any avid golfer. It's when we get to watch our favourite golfers battle it out on one of the most iconic courses in the world. Flowers in full bloom, an array of beautiful colours, and a course in pristine condition year-after-year. Augusta National is a special place, so we thought we'd run through some of the standout Masters memories ahead of next week's showdown. Sunday Shifts
In 1996, Greg Norman turned a six-stroke Sunday lead into a five-stroke loss to Nick Faldo. In 1978, Gary Player started the final round eight strokes behind before shooting the lowest-ever final round (64) at Augusta to claim the Green Jacket! Fighting Spirit
Tiger’s incredible 2019 comeback win springs to mind, but Ben Hogan recovered from a terrible car crash in 1949 to win The Masters by five strokes in 1953. Ben Crenshaw’s 1995 victory came in the same week as the funeral of long-time instructor Harvey Penick. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Hole-outs, playoffs and plenty of drama…Send us a message with your favourite Masters memory.
