WORST JUMPER COMPETITION
We surprisingly had 2 members taking on Mike Andrews' crown of the worst jumper the Pro Shop have seen.
I don't think they planned on taking on the challenge as I have been told that Arthur "I thought I looked very smart" Doherty and Geoff Shaw wear these all the time.
I'll be looking forward to more challengers and we will all have a vote at the end of the year.

TRACKMAN
As you may or may not be aware but I have had my Trackman delivered and my first customer on it is Dave Lowe who plays of a 19 handicap.
We hit a few balls to start with and analysed the results, straight away I notice that there was a couple of figures that were a concern and we would need to improve these to get better results.
Here are the results and figures that needed work on from the first 5 shots.
Carry (yards) Total (yards) Club Path (degrees)
130.9 149.0 +4.9
121.0 152.7 +3.0
161.0 176.7 +2.1
151.8 170.5 +4.7
159.2 173.1 +3.2
As you can Dave's club path is on the inside so in order to get a straighter flight and a better ball strike we would need to swing the club straighter through the target line, after an explanation and demonstration of how we can achieve this Dave hit a few more shots and his figures started to really improve.
Here are the results from his shots towards the end of the lesson in which his club path had improved -
Carry (yards) Total (yards) Club Path (degrees)
157.2 173.6 +0.9
172.8 187.6 -0.1
173.0 184.3 -0.8
160.7 174.1 -0.5
I have forward Dave's results to him and this is an area we shall continue to monitor.

STAFFORDSHIRE PGA ALLIANCE (LITTLE ASTON)
In the latest PGA Alliance I played at Little Aston Golf Club, I managed 33 pts in the individual although this should have been much better as I played quite well bar a couple bad holes.
The course was as always in terrific condition and my team Warren Alcock, Ralph Harrison and Karen Wilshaw all enjoyed the day and asked to go back next time. As a team we scored a very respectable 79pts (2 from 4).
