Supplementary Scores A Supplementary Score is a score returned by a Member, for handicapping purposes, other than in a Qualifying Competition, and will count towards the retention of a Player’s Competition Handicap. It must be played under Competition Play Conditions, (i.e.no advice or coaching given by any other person), and played over either:
(a) an 18-hole Measured Course in either Stroke Play or Stableford format: or (b) A Designated Nine-Hole Course in a Stableford format.
Players must signify their intention of returning a Supplementary Score, ‘prior to starting their round’ by signing in on the computer screen in the Professional’s Shop, and play from the Yellow Tees. The Player’s card must be marked by a Member who holds a current Competition Handicap.
On completion of the round, the score is to be entered into the computer and the card, duly signed, and with the name of the Marker clearly legible, submitted to the Pro’s Shop or Match Secretary’s office. Failure to comply with any of the above will render the card inadmissible.
N.B. - Be aware it may take a few days for a score to be registered in a Player’s Handicap Record. M Barker Match Secretary (May 2019)
