Greens update It is becoming more and more apparent that some members of our club and ignoring some of the basics of golfing etiquette on the golf course. We are certain a lot of members have noticed an ever-increasing number of unrepaired pitchmarks on our greens, as well as some enormous divots on our fairways. We are constantly going onto greens repairing "other golfers" damage that, they either couldn't be bothered to repair, or simply didn't search for them. Everyone at the club wants fantastic greens all year round and we're doing our best to achieve this. However, we desperately need the help of every member who plays on our course, to do their bit. If you're playing with someone who's managed to hit the green, PLEASE remind them to repair the damage. It takes seconds to do and will help enormously as we strive towards getting the smooth surface, we all crave. We hope you all agree that every little bit helps to get the course where we need it to be. Thanks in advance for your participation in this matter.

We will be having another Work Party on Monday 18th March at 10.30am to do the same thing in other areas of the course that need doing. If anybody is interested in helping out, please let Greg or Jake know in the Pro Shop.

In house catering At present, we do not have an in-house chef. Consequently, we are arranging to have a chef only when a function is arranged. It is essential, therefore, all discussions appertaining to any catering requirements must be discussed with the House Chairman (Pete Nixon) or Vice-Captain who will make/confirm the necessary arrangements. Anyone who has made a prior booking with the Club, please can you get in touch with either Pete or Arthur to ensure your booking is in the diary and your requirements/costings are agreed.

Motocaddy has always been at the forefront of trolley innovation, with the world's first GPS electric trolley amongst their ranks. Well, this year they’ve made some significant upgrades to the immensly popular S1 model, which we think you're going to love. |
| New Motocaddy S1 electric trolley (2019) |
|
We don't like using the term 'entry level' to describe the new S1 as it offers so much more than what this suggests. At first glance, you'll take a liking to its modernised styling and graphics, which will really help make it stand out from other trolleys on the market. Then you get to its technology: new and improved sunlight-friendly LCD display, nine speed settings, advanced battery meter so you needn't worry about it running out mid-round without knowing, and a super-lightweight Lithium battery to name but a few. The new S1 for 2019 is as good as it gets at this price point, so pop in-store to take a look and get one in your hands. |
