Bar & Catering Facilities 

As you may be aware a Committee Meeting was held on 4th January to review our bar and catering facilities. Following detailed discussion, including consideration of alternative means of providing catering, it was agreed:

- The existing "executive chef" position to be discontinued; 
 - To advertise for a manager to take overall responsibility for bar and catering; 
- The post holder to reside on the club premises; 
- Hon. Secretary to draft an advertisement to include the option for a steward/ stewardess arrangement; 
- New arrangements to be implemented by 1st April 2017.

Since the meeting our current Chef has found suitable employment elsewhere and I am sure you will all join the Committee in thanking him for his contribution whilst at Leek Golf Club and wishing him well for the future. 

In the meantime, an advertisement for a House Manager has been posted on our club website and Peter Cordon has agreed to take overall responsibility for our bar and catering provision until new arrangements are in place.

Questionnaire 

Will members please be so kind as to fill in the questionnaire that they received along with their membership renewal forms. A great deal of work has gone into producing this questionnaire and we would be grateful for your replies. A box has been provided in the entrance hall for members to leave the filled in questionnaires. Thank you to those people who have already sent theirs in.
 

   

FREE Club Fitting Until the End of February

In the Pro Shop we have taken delivery of some brand new equipment for 2017. The TaylorMade 2017 'M' Ranges which are proving very popular on tour and the PING i200 irons. Come in and see what all the fuss is about.

Until the end of Feb we will be offering FREE custom fitting on our Trackman system. Pop in the shop or give us a call to book your free fitting.
