Men's 9 Hole Qualifying Competitions

The uptake of the trial competitions was minimal with 26 scorecards submitted over the 2 weeks. Three Members were successful in lowering their Handicaps and each will receive a share of the proceeds. 

Martin Houghton - 21pts (18pts added = 39pts for Handicap purposes) 
Kevin Yeomans - 20pts (+ 18 = 38pts) 
Don Eardley - 19pts (+ 18 = 37pts) 

Some Handicaps were increased due to low scores and all scores will count towards the Three required to retain a Competition Handicap throughout 2017.

George Mountford Trophy - Rearranged Date 

The George Mountford Trophy that was cancelled at the start of the year due to bad weather has been rearranged for Sunday 16th October. The normal booking procedure will apply via the pro-shop, even if you were down to play in the original competition you will need to re-book a tee time.

Staffordshire Winter Pro-Ams 

The winter alliance sheet is now available in the pro-shop. If you would like to play in a pro-am during the winter months have a look at the courses available and stick your name on the list. Format is best 2 scores from 4, 90% handicap with prizes for top 3 score. The price is £45 which includes bacon bap on arrival, 18 holes of golf followed by a meal after play.
