Some of you may or may not be aware of some of our members playing away in various golf tours around the country, here was the latest write up from the Finch Golf Tour.

1st Place - Matthews Mops Up at Hesketh

Setting todays pace was 8 Handicapper - Steve Matthews (Leek Golf Club). Grabbing the opportunity of teeing of 1st and the best of today's weather with winds picking up later on, Steve posted two great nines to win today's event by two strokes with 39 points. Another great performance. All great banter and fun and always great to see the guys traveling up from the Potteries to play!

MIXED MATCHES

The poster for the first mixed friendly match is now in place in the corridor. This is to be played at home against Newcastle on Sunday 17th April starting at 12.30. Anyone interested, please put their name on the list along with their menu choice. This is always a popular event, so please hurry and put your name down.
